What can I say as an INFJ?
Life has been an interesting journey. Not unlike others, it has been filled with ups and downs beyond what I could imagine.
Feeling like an outsider from a young age, life has been a constant battle between being authentic and striving to fit in to the herd.
Being authentic can be challenging as we are types that strive harmony in our environments.
So, in order to achieve that, we sometimes have to change the way we behave.
It’s not that we are being fake, we just have an idea of how we should play out a situation in order to provide peace for all parties.
Sometimes we can try so hard to achieve harmony that we lose ourselves entirely.
Advice to fellow INFJs
Take time to detach from the world – Be alone to build your energy reserves.
- We can be extraverted and free for periods of time but if we don’t seek solitude, we will burn out quickly.
Notice when you start eating poorly or overdoing things that are unhealthy.
- When we get unhealthy mentally, we tend to indulge in unhealthy foods and actions – become conscious of that.
Work out often!!
- I cannot stress this one enough. Make sure you are exercising.
- Any MBTI sign should follow this one.
- Mentally, you will be in a better space as you build a better, healthier body.
Build strong boundaries.
- Be aware of what values you hold and stay true to them.
- We can tend to people please but in the long run, if we don’t follow our intuition, we will end up getting resentful.
- Save the pain and just say no if it doesn’t resonate.
Meditate
- We tend to overthink things and over read situations
- This practice will help you stay PRESENT!
- Being present as an INFJ will do a world of good for your mind and soul.
