Practicing Self- Love

There is no greater critic in life than the self!

People can judge you and insult you all they want. While in the midst of that barrage, you will feel pain – it will hurt…. a lot.

I promise you though that while that does hurt, it has less of an impact that the criticism you deal out to yourself.

Obviously, we knows who we are. The roadmap to our ego is laid out in the neurons of our brain.

So, we know exactly what buttons to push.

The fears, insecurities and doubts are all fully visible to the mind.

The mind’s primary concern is self- preservation.

Evolutionarily, this is sound in practice! How can one possibly pass on their genes if they wouldn’t value survival.

Whenever you try and push beyond your mind’s comfort level, your mind will throw up warning signs. Suggestions to go back to the safe haven.

Beyond that, your mind is more willing to spread word regarding your falsities but not your virtues.

This fact can potentially cripple you from chasing your glory.

Everyday, challenge your mind to believe you are great – your greatness was already encoded in your D.N.A.

Drive past those stop signs in your mind and push beyond what it wants for you.

You are the author of your life. Write the greatest book you can, even if you have to fight yourself to get there.
