Hidden in plain sight

The solutions are honestly quite simple.

I’d make the case that humans want to improve.

In everything we do, we tend to want to get better.

Even the most nihilistic can appreciate progress and growth, as part of human’s natural condition.

When we don’t improve, or don’t see a better future in our mind, we tend to generate negative and depressive thoughts.

From that point on, it’s very easy to spiral out of control.

Let’s pull this back because there are different choices that could be made.

Some choices can severely hurt you while others can have the opposite effect.

My claim is that while the decisions can have a wildly different results.

The initial choice is often quite simple.

Meaning, you know what decision is required for the result of which you seek.

Example: If you want to get into shape, working out would be an optimal strategy.

The act of working out is certainly not simple but the decision we need to make is easy.

Here’s the bottom line: Be conscious with every decision that you make.

You have everything within you to build your empire.

And it takes one decision at a time.

Those moments of silence

Quiet the noise in the outside world by seeking solace within the self.

We don’t give ourselves enough credit.

Whenever a decision needs to be made, we tend to look to others for guidance.

It’s not necessarily that we think less of ourselves, but we always think that a perspective from others is more fruitful.

From a young age, we seek education from peers, parents, teachers and the like.

I am not suggesting that a reality devoid of education is ideal.

I just ask people to put more trust in their own beliefs.

Here’s why….

When you put trust and faith in your own actions, you will build confidence within.

You are signaling to yourself that you have the strength to rise and fall on your own.

If you fall, you pick up the experience and continue moving while being better equipped to handle such an event in the future.

If you rise, you learn that the strength to accomplish feats can be completed on your own.

In either case, your knowledge grows as you feed your experiential reality.

My favorite reason for seeking the voice within can be distilled to one word – “Liberation”

Imagine the liberation that comes with being 100% responsible for your results.

I cannot blame others for the mistakes in my life or worse, play the victim.

I am free to live my life my way and when death comes knocking,

I can simply smile knowing that I did it with self-respect and integrity.

For those of you who feel like life is slipping away, reach out and take more ownership.

Go out there and live your best life in your terms.

Be open to go through the motions

Feel each moment and take the time to process

We live in a world that speeds us up.

Each day seems to pass us by quicker and quicker.

It’s as though each blink is a snapshot of the day that has been.

Within those snapshots are emotions. Packets of data filled with a wide array of feelings.

If you simply snap through those moments, you will never fully understand the meaning behind the emotions.

Take your time. Feel the emotions.

Each snapshot should be studied. You don’t need to fully understand, but you should get a sense of the mood.

Why???

Because leave these emotions unattended, and you will become a slave to them.

At some subconscious level, they will control you.

In unexpected moments, you will cry, yell or vent to release the pressure.

So, take the time to feel your emotions.

Each different sensation should provide you with ammunition.

Experience on how to handle your future endeavors.

It’s all in the little moments.

Live and feel each day. You’ll be all the better for it.
